Green Communities Canada is offering free Depave Paradise Coordinator training in an effort to expand the reach this exciting program.

Depave Paradise removes unwanted pavement, replacing it with green spaces that absorb and filter rain before it enters waterbodies. The unique act of removing asphalt by hand attracts the attention of volunteers, municipal representatives, and the wider community, and makes permanent positive changes to neighbourhoods.

Training is offered on-line, is self-paced, and provides access to ongoing resources and support for coordinators as they plan and implement their first depave event.

For more information please contact Urban Water Programs Coordinator Emily Amon

Funding for this initiative is provided through the generous support of RBC.
