“When it was time to part with my truck I was happy to know Car Heaven would make sure all the components were recycled in a responsible way,” says William Skilton. “Having the proceeds support Green Communities Canada and getting a tax receipt were bonuses.”
Car Heaven is a national charitable vehicle recycling program that lets you get rid of your clunker and donate the proceeds to a charitable organization. Your vehicle gets towed away for free, you get a tax receipt, and we all benefit from reduced air pollution and responsible recycling carried out in compliance with the Automotive Recyclers of Canada’s strict code of practice.
“It was a really easy process,” says Skilton. “I filled out the on-line form, was contacted by Car Heaven the next day, and the truck was towed away a few days after that.”
This month Car Heaven is featuring the work of Green Communities Canada and its charitable affiliate the Green Communities Foundation.
