At Walter Murray Collegiate in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, a schoolyard improvement project helped make the space greener and more resilient to rainwater. In partnership with the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and supported by the Waltons Trust, 359 volunteers depaved 235 square metres. They also planted 10 trees and 605 plants and shrubs, helping divert approximately 60 cubic metres of stormwater.
