In 2023, Credit Valley Conservation, with support from Definity and the Greenbelt Foundation, brought together 50 volunteers to transform 100 m² of land at St. George’s Anglican Church in Georgetown, ON, into a mini forest. Together, they planted 204 trees and 192 shrubs, creating a new green space that will grow over time to provide habitat for local wildlife, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to a healthier urban environment.
