At Marie Curie Public School in Ottawa, Ontario, a schoolyard greening project introduced new trees and plantings while reducing hard surface area. In partnership with EnviroCentre and supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), 20 volunteers depaved 100 square metres and planted 2 trees, along with 5 plants and shrubs.
