With support from Heart Lake Committed Capital and the Greenbelt Foundation, RainscapeTO brought together 86 volunteers to transform 300 square metres of land at the Humber River Lodge community into a mini forest along Toronto’s Humber River Trail. Volunteers planted 32 trees, 36 shrubs, 350 flowers, and 70 grasses, creating a vibrant green space that will support local biodiversity, provide habitat for wildlife, and strengthen the area’s natural ecosystem as it grows.
