At Daniel St. in Smiths Falls, Ontario, a public space improvement project helped make the area greener and better at handling rainwater. In partnership with the Rideau Environmental Action League and supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), 24 volunteers depaved 100 square metres and planted 4 trees, 225 plants, and shrubs, helping divert approximately 75 cubic metres of stormwater.
