At 579–581 Barton St in Hamilton, Ontario, a green infrastructure initiative helped improve stormwater management and enhance the site. In partnership with Green Venture and supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), 18 volunteers depaved 140 square metres, planted 6 trees and 268 plants and shrubs, and helped divert approximately 166 cubic metres of stormwater.
