Green Communities Canada is proud to launch the 2025 Living Cities Canada Fund Impact Report!

Over the past year, the Fund has supported 60+ on-the-ground projects and distributed over $600,000 to frontline community organizations, empowering local leaders to create new green infrastructure.

With 38 partner organizations, these projects have strengthened climate resilience, reduced flood risks, lowered air temperatures, and enhanced biodiversity—especially in equity-deserving communities across Canada.

The Living Cities Canada Fund provides training, funding, and logistical support to municipalities, non-profits, conservation authorities, and First Nations governments, ensuring urban green infrastructure is implemented where it’s needed most.
