Mobilize Your Living City is a free, asynchronous online course designed for community groups, non-profit organizations, Indigenous governments, and municipalities.

The goal of this training is to equip participants with the skills to create a local green infrastructure policy pathway to embed nature-based solutions into planning and decision-making. Based on our Pathways to Living Cities Framework, the course guides participants to assess local priorities, identify opportunities and gaps, and define clear next steps to advance green infrastructure in their community.

The course covers:

  • Green infrastructure tools such as rain gardens, depaving, trees, green roofs, and more.
  • The concept of a “Living City” and the benefits of green infrastructure.
  • How to develop a green infrastructure policy pathway using scans, partner and community engagement, and interviews.
