At Hello Baked on Barton St. E in Hamilton, Ontario, a small-scale greening project introduced new plantings and improved stormwater management at the site. In partnership with Green Venture and supported by the Waltons Trust and Green Communities Foundation, 23 volunteers depaved 50 square metres, planted 1 tree and 50 plants and shrubs, and helped divert approximately 49 cubic metres of stormwater.
