Kate Taylor is the Director of Projects for Aki Energy Inc, an Aboriginal social enterprise that works with First Nations to build community-owned and locally installed renewable energy systems in Manitoba. In this role she has worked with First Nations across Manitoba to install over $6 million dollars in community-owned renewable energy in the last three years, training over 70 community installers.
Kate Taylor has a Masters Certification in Project Management from the Schultz School of Business, and has worked with Aki Energy since it’s founding in 2013. Previous to this Kate worked at Green Communities Canada as the coordinator of Affordable Energy Canada, a project that was instrumental in supporting the development of Aki Energy.
Kate currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
